ANCC Well-Being Excellence™ Credential
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) sets the optimal standard in nursing and health care credentialing worldwide. ANCC’s rigorous programs establish the highest benchmarks in practice, education, and organizational excellence.
The Well-Being Excellence credential is designed to assess the enculturation of well-being programs wherever nurses practice, including healthcare organizations, schools, universities, industry, and similar settings. Using this evidence-based framework, this unique credential recognizes employers whose well-being efforts, initiatives, and approaches improve the wellbeing of nurses and diverse teams.
Building Nurse Well-Being through Peer and Leadership Support
The American Nurses Foundation’s Nurse Well-Being: Building Peer and Leadership Support program was developed by nurses for nurses to offer evidence-based tools and resources to improve their recovery from stress reactions. Adapted from the Stress First Aid model, it creates a shared language around stress and burnout to lessen the stigma nurses may encounter when in need of help.
The full program curriculum (four modules), implementation guide, and training resources are available for free to all nurses (with CNE available).
